Safe Action System
Three safeties that work by themselves
A GLOCK has no manual safety. Three mechanical safeties work automatically: they disengage one by one when the trigger is pulled fully, and re-engage as soon as the trigger is released.
- Trigger safety: the trigger only moves when the finger presses it fully.
- Firing pin safety: the firing pin stays mechanically blocked until the shot.
- Drop safety: a dropped pistol does not fire.
